Matthew Kennedy
G’day and welcome to Kennedy Rural. It’s Matthew Kennedy here and along with my wife Aga we established Kennedy Rural in February 2013 at Richmond in North West Queensland. We specialise in Rural Property, Livestock and Clearing Sales. We use a very wide range of marketing strategies and tools that best fit what we are marketing for our valued clients. I have worked in the Rural Industry most of my life including over twenty-five years as a Stock and Station Agent throughout Western NSW and North West Queensland. We have representatives in Georgetown, Julia Creek, Cardwell, Hughenden, and Mt Garnett. Rodney Kennedy
Rodney Kennedy joined the team at Kennedy Rural in 2019 and now lives in Cardwell. Rod has had vast experience in the Rural Industry throughout his working life. When in his twenties, Rod worked across Australia on numerous stations in stock camps, farming and sheep properties, banana farms and gained valuable experience and a broader outlook.
Rod then spent over 20 years as the contractor at the Inverell Sale Yards. These were the first QA accredited sale yards in Australia. During this time Rod and his family also had a Charolais Stud on a small place near Inverell and another property near Delungra in NSW.

Dan Sheahan
Hi, I am Dan Sheahan and I joined the Kennedy Rural Team in 2024.
I grew up around Ingham and Hughenden in Qld, then, with my wife went contract mustering in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia for six years all the time raising two little kids. In 2019 we came back to Queensland and settled down on our own property on the Gilbert River near Georgetown in The Gulf. Recently our family has grown with another two little girls.
I have worked in the Cattle Industry pretty much all of my life including butchering, slaughter man, feedlot work, mustering, hay farming, cattle tick certifier, machine operator and have been a Helicopter Mustering Pilot for over 10 years.

Jennifer joined the Kennedy Rural Team in 2020 supporting the Team with Sales, Accounts and general administration responsibilities.
Jennifer has significant experience in both small and large organisations beginning her career working in the regulatory division of Canada’s primary telecommunications company.
